FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment do I need to bring?

The only thing you need to participate in our hikes is clothing adjusted to the weather and proper hiking shoes/boots. A bottle of water can be good to bring if you want to drink something more than what’s offered during the breaks.

Do I need previous knowledge of horses?

Absolutely not! 🙂 We want to offer everyone the chance to spend time with horses. What we do ask is that you keep an open mind, especially if you’re used to horses from before or maybe you’re a skilled rider. We do things a bit differently here offering the horses a place to express their own wishes. We always adjust to their mood and make sure they feel safe and relaxed.

Can I bring my own snacks for the horses?

You’ll be given a pouch with horse treats to offer the horses during the hikes. Please do not bring your own snacks or fruit as some of them are sensitive to sugar and many horse treats sold in shops are not very friendly to horses teeth.
